MG introduced the ZS EV, which claims to be the most practical electric vehicle in its segment, in the Indian market. The brand also boasts that the MG ZS EV is the most value for money electric SUV with the longest available range in the country. Now, the brand has plans to upgrade the MG ZS EV. The 2022 MG ZS EV will retain all the practicality and value for money, but at the same time also feature advanced features and a new design for the year 2022.
2022 MG ZS EV – New Design
According to images, the 2022 MG ZS EV will come with reprofiled front and rear bumpers. The brand now offers a futuristic front fascia with wing elements finished in chrome. MG has also updated the front fascia with a new set of LED headlamps and LED DRLs. In addition to this, the 2022 MG ZS EV will also come with a new taillight design. The brand will also offer 17-inch alloy wheels with a new design which is also likely to be aerodynamically optimised. The electric SUV also comes with a new front-covered grille and charging socket, which is now placed to the left of the MG logo.
2022 MG ZS EV – Features
MG will be thoroughly updating the feature list on the new ZS EV. The brand has not revealed the new features on the MG ZS EV; however, the keen-eyed would notice a radar unit mounted in the centre of the front bumper. This leads us to believe that the new MG ZS EV could come with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). This is likely to include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assistance, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Speed Assist etc. The hardware could be borrowed from the MG Astor, which uses the globally acclaimed ‘ZS’ platform.
