2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga launched at INR 8.35 lakh, 11 variants

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Next-Gen Ertiga in the Indian market. The brand also revealed that the bookings for the new Ertiga are now open in the Indian market. Interested buyers can book the new MPV by putting down the amount of INR 11,000 from Maruti Suzuki ARENA showrooms across the country or by visiting the official Maruti Suzuki website. 

2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Price and Variants

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga comes with 11 variants on offer. Prices on the new Ertiga start from INR 8.35 lakh ex-showroom. The brand offers both manual and automatic transmission options. The top-spec automatic variant comes with a sticker price of INR 12.79 lakh ex-showroom. Also, the brand is offering the Ertiga in an S-CNG bi-fuel engine option which starts at INR 10.44 lakh ex-showroom for private use and INR 10.41 lakh ex-showroom for taxi and fleet operators. The petrol version of the “Tour” for taxi and fleet operators starts at INR 9.46 lakh ex-showroom. Maruti Suzuki is also offering the next-gen Ertiga through Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee starting from INR 18,600 for the Petrol and INR 22,400 for the S-CNG.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Powertrain and Mileage

Powering the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a 1.5-litre Next-Gen K-series four-cylinder engine. The motor produces 102 PS of power and 136.8 Nm of torque in petrol variants. In the S-CNG variant, the Ertiga produces 87 PS of power and 121 Nm of torque. In petrol mode of the S-CNG variant, the car makes 100 PS of power and 136 Nm of torque. The brand offers the 2022 Ertiga with a 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The brand claims that the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga delivers 20.51 km/l of mileage on Petrol MT, 20.30 km/l on Petrol AT and 26.11km/kg of mileage on the CNG powertrain. 

2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Design and Features

The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga comes with refreshed exteriors and interiors. The MPV comes with a new dynamic chrome winged radiator grille and back door garnish with a chrome insert. The 2022 Ertiga also gets new machined two-tone alloy wheels. The brand is also offering the new Ertiga with two new colours – Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown. 

On the inside, the new Ertiga features a new sculpted dashboard with a new metallic Teak-Wooden finish. The car also comes with a new dual-tone seat fabric enhancing the MPVs overall premium-ness. The MPV also comes with features such as Cruise Control, Driver side auto-window up with anti-pinch, Auto headlamps with Follow-Me Home etc.

The car also gets electric ORVMs, CNG specific speedometer, and a 7-inch new Smart Play Pro infotainment system. The infotainment system also includes a new onboard voice assistant with the Hi Suzuki command. The car also comes with connectivity features, and users can remotely access & operate the AC, door lock, headlamps, hazard lights, alarm etc. 

2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Safety 

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga features Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform. The brand boasts that the MPV continues to meet all the applicable Indian safety regulations. Safety features include four airbags (Driver, co-driver and Front Seat side) and ESP with Hill hold assist. The brand also offers safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a speed alert system, driver and co-driver seat belt reminders as standard fitment across all variants.
