Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has introduced the MY22 new KTM 390 Adventure in the international market. The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure retains its adventure soul but offers mild-mechanical upgrades, updates to the electronic package and brings two new colours to the palette. The brand has not yet revealed if the new motorcycle will make it to Indian streets, but the question is when it comes to India, thanks to its popularity in the country.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure – What’s New?
The KTM 390 Adventure combines versatility and reliability in a tightly wound package at an affordable price. Taking this further, the brand is now offering the KTM 390 Adventure with new 5-spoke double split alloy wheels. The brand claims that the new wheels are robust enough to take on wilder adventures and even more challenging terrain. The brand offers the 390 Adventure with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear setup shod in Continental TKC 70 tyres in the international market.
The new KTM 390 Adventure comes with an enhanced electronics package. This now includes a new OFFROAD riding mode which allows some rear-wheel slip to negotiate deep sand and muddy puddles. The rider also does not need to reactivate the selected mode when the motorcycle stalls unexpectedly. KTM also offers the new bike with OFFROAD ABS. The new ABS mode completely deactivates the ABS on the rear wheel and also reduces the intervention on the front wheel, offering more control to the rider. The 390 Adventure also comes with lean-angle dependant traction control and cornering ABS.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure – New Colours and Graphics
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure comes in two new colours, which include – a Blue tank with orange tank spoilers and new KTM graphics. The motorcycle gets a white coloured tail cowl, and other parts are finished in black. The second colour is a combination of black and grey with orange accents, primarily on the tank graphics. The bike also features refreshed graphics on the tank, cowling and front fender. Both colourways feature a black finish knuckle guard.
