Hyundai has officially revealed the newest N Line member, the Creta N Line. The company has been teasing the N Line version of the Creta for some time now, and we even saw the production-ready car in spy shots. However, this is it, and we also get to see some new bits. Hyundai will initially launch the car in the South American market. The company may launch it in India and other markets at a later stage. However, there is no confirmation regarding the same.
2022 Hyundai Creta N Line – Highlights
To differentiate it from the regular Creta, the N Line version gets a host of subtle styling tweaks. These include a new, taller bumper, new grille design, larger air-intakes and triangular foglight housing. The grille design also gets a Tucson-like dark chrome finish. Furthermore, the dark chrome finish extends to the headlights, which makes the SUV look wider than before. The grille also has an N Line badge. Another unique styling element exclusive to the Creta N Line is the horizontal vent above the grille. Hyundai has carried on the headlights from the regular Creta.
The side of the SUV gets an N Line badge on the front fender, darkened window line, side skirts, and new wheels. The all-new alloy wheels measure 17-inch in size. At the rear, the Creta N Line’s bumper gets a redesign and adds the signature N Line bits. These include a faux diffuser and circular twin exhaust tips. Hyundai also claims to have tuned the suspension for a sportier drive.
The interiors get the typical N Line treatment. Thus, the Creta N Line gets contrasting red stitching on the seats, an N Line-themed gear knob and an N Line steering wheel. The seats also get N Line badging.
2022 Hyundai Creta N Line – Powertrain
Powering the 2022 Creta N Line is the 1.0-litre three-cylinder T-GDI. We get the same engine on many Hyundais in India. The motor produces 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque. This is Hyundai’s entry-level powertrain for markets like South America. The other engine option in the South American market is 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol. In India, this 2.0-litre petrol engine is available with the Hyundai Alcazar.
