Yamaha has unveiled the new 2021 Bolt R-Spec in the Japanese market. The big V-Twin motorcycle will retail in Japan at JPY 1,045,000, which includes consumption tax. The brand also reveals the new Bolt R-Spec in two new colours, including a Greyish Blue Metallic and Black Metallic X.

Powering the 2021 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec is a 941cc air-cooled V-twin cylinder engine. The 60-degree V-twin SOHC motor with fuel injection comes with two into one exhaust pipe. The engine also features a dedicated fuel map that offers light acceleration and a comfortable beat in medium to low-speed urban riding. The motor produces 54 PS and 80 Nm of torque and comes with a 5-speed transmission.
The Yamaha Bolt R-Spec measures 2,290mm in length, 830mm in width and 1,120mm in height. The cruiser comes with an approachable 690mm saddle height and 130mm of ground clearance. The wheelbase is 1570mm and the motorcycle tips the scales at 252 kg. The Bolt also gets a 29-degree caster angle with 130mm of the trail.
Design & Styling
The 2021 Yamaha Bolt R-Spec features a typical big V-Twin American design language. The motorcycle comes with classic features such as a rounded headlamp, hanging handlebars and a boxy 13-litre teardrop fuel tank. The bike comes with chopped fender and seating for two with scooped riders seat. The Yamaha Bolt R-Spec also features a 19-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy wheels with machine finish on the spokes.
The Yamaha Bolt R-Spec comes with a double-cradle frame that rides on 41mm telescopic forks on the front. The motorcycle also gets hydraulic shock absorbers with gas-charged piggy back on the rear. The cruiser is equipped with single hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheel and comes with ABS for safety. The motorcycle also comes with smoke lens indicators, LED taillamps and a round case speedometer.
