Heritage Italian motorcycle brand, Moto Guzzi has revealed the new Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber and V9 Roamer in the international market. The Moto Guzzi V9 range has been revamped for 2021 and now comes with new mechanical and technological features along with a new engine derived from the V85 TT all-terrain bike, evolved chassis, new seats, new finishes and footpegs.
The 2021 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber and Roamer are powered by a new 850cc, 90-degree transversely-mounted V-twin engine that makes 65 hp of power and 73 Nm of torque. The engine is wrapped around in an evolved frame that has been strengthened in the headstock area which adds to the stability allowing more precision during rides. In order to reduce vibrations from the engine, Moto Guzzi has also introduced rubber-mounted footpegs. The brand is also offering a switchable MGCT traction control system and ABS as a standard feature.
Apart from the new standard safety features and new comfortable footpegs, the V9 also comes with a new minimalist looking saddle, a short front fender, new aluminium side panels, a new digital instruments cluster, full LED lighting system with a new Mandello Eagle-shaped LED daytime running lights and a brand new headlamp. The Moto Guzzi V9 range is also available with a range of optional accessories including Moto Guzzi MIA – a multimedia system that allows the user to connect their smartphone to the motorcycle, linking the vehicle to the internet.
The Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber is available in Nero Essenziale a completely matte finish colour scheme, that highlights the Bobber’s nocturnal theme. The cooling fins on the engine are also finished in black. The Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer is offered in a unique Grigio Lunare colour scheme which features gloss painted fuel tank, side panels and mudguards along with a machine-finish on the cylinder fins.
The Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber & Roamer are also available in the reduced power version that adheres to the A2 Italian driver’s licence restrictions.
