2021 MINI Cars Arrive in India Priced from INR 38 lakh

Mini has launched the 2021 range of all-new Mini Cars in the Indian market. The range includes the Mini Copper 3-Door Hatch, the Mini Cooper Convertible and the Mini John Cooper Works. The all-new Mini range will be arriving on Indian soil via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route. The brand also announced that test drives and bookings on the new Mini range are now open. The all-new Mini range will be available through Mini Dealerships MINI Online Shop. 

2021 Mini 3-Door Hatch, Mini Cooper Convertible & Mini John Cooper Works – Price in India

The entry-level Mini 3-Door Hatch comes with a price tag of INR 38 lakh ex-showroom India. The Mini Cooper Convertible comes at INR 44 lakh ex-showroom, India. The performance-oriented Mini John Cooper Works Hatch comes at the price of INR 45.50 lakh ex-showroom, India. The brand also offers customized and flexible financial solutions on the Mini range of car in the Indian market. Customers can also choose Service Inclusive, Repair Inclusive and MINI Secure, which further reduces ownership cost. The packages include Condition Based Service (CBS) and maintenance work with plans varying from 3-years / 40,000 km to 10 years / 2,00,000 km. 

Mini 3-Door Hatch and Mini Cooper Convertible Colours

Mini is introducing the 3-Door Hatch and Mini Cooper Convertible in four new colours options. The colour options include Enigmatic Black, Rooftop Grey metallic, Island Blue metallic, and Zesty Yellow. The last of which is reserved only for the convertible model. The cars also come with an optional gloss black exterior trim, including Mini logos, door handles, side scuttles, fuel cap, and exhaust. The vehicle also comes with high-gloss black surrounds on the headlights, radiator grille and taillights. 

The Mini 3-Door and Mini John Cooper Works are also available with a new Multitone Roof. This includes a colour gradient from San Marino Blue through Pearly Aqua to Jet Black. In addition, the Mini 3-Door Hatch and the Mini Convertible come with Jet Black, Aspen White and Melting Silver paintwork. The Mini John Cooper Works also comes with a Chili Red paint option.  

Mini 3-Door Hatch and Mini Cooper Convertible – Engine Specifications

The Mini 3-Door and Mini Convertible come with a 2.0-litre MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology engine. The four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine produces 192 Hp of power and 280 Nm of torque. The engine is capable of propelling the 3-Door Hatch from 0-100 kmph in just 6.1 seconds. At the same time, the Convertible takes 7.1 seconds to reach 100 from a standstill. The 3-Door features a 7-speed Double Clutch Steptronic transmission, and the Convertible comes with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. 

Mini John Cooper Works – Engine Specifications

The Mini John Cooper Works comes with a 2.0-litre MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology engine. But the four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine is tuned to deliver 231 Hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. In addition, the Mini John Cooper Works comes with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission with a broader gear spread but still achieves the 0-100 kmph speed in just 6.1 seconds.

The Mini range comes with 17-inch alloy wheels on the Mini 3-Door and Mini Convertible, while the Mini JCW comes with 18-inch light-alloy wheels. In addition, depending on the model, the Mini range features a new multifunction steering wheel design, 8.8-inch colour touchscreen display and Piano Black high-gloss interior surfaces. The interiors also come with a new surface design with laser engraving, an Ambient Light option, and an LED light ring around the central display.

As an option, the brand also offers a 5-inch multifunctional instrument display on the steering column. In addition, the car also comes with Navigation System, Wireless Charging, and a lot more in the optional MINI Wired Package. Also available as an option is the MINI Excitement Pack featuring LED interior and ambient lighting.
