Isuzu is planning to launch the new V-Cross in the BS6 avatar in India. The lifestyle pickup truck is likely to come in multiple variants with both 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains. Now, the technical specifications of the India-bound D-Max V-Cross have leaked on the internet. The leaked images reveal all the details of the upcoming SUV before its launch. Sources also report that the BS6 Isuzu V-Cross will make its debut in May 2021.
Isuzu V-Cross – Leaked Technical Specifications
According to the leaked images, the Isuzu V-Cross will be offered in two variants – Z and Z Prestige. The Z variant comes with a 4×2 drivetrain and the Z prestige in the 4×4 drivetrain. The engine on both variants is a BS6 compliant 1.9-litre in-line four-cylinder motor. The variable geometry turbo-diesel engine will make 161 Hp of power and 360 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Dimensions
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross measures 5,295mm in length, 1,860mm in width and 1,840mm in height. The pickup truck comes with a 3095mm wheelbase offering seating for 5 people and a large pick-up bed. The 4×2 version comes with a 2400 kg GVW and the 4×4 variant comes with a 2510 kg GVW. Both the Z and Z Prestige come with 18-inch alloy wheels shod in 255/60 rubber.
Features
Leaked specifications reveal that the V-Cross will come with LED DRLs, bi-projector LED headlights and LED taillamps a standard. The SUV also comes with roof rails, side steps and a black-out B-pillar as standard. While the SUV also comes with high-ride suspension as standard, the 4×4 model also benefits from a shift-on-fly with High Torque mode. The V-Cross also features passive entry and start, bucket seats with electrical adjustment and steering mounted auto cruise control on the top model.
As standard, the V-Cross will come with automatic air conditioning, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power windows and a plethora of active and passive safety features including airbags, ABS, brake override system, engine immobiliser, rear defogger, child locking doors etc as standard.
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross will also come with Splash White, Silky White Pearl, Cosmic Black, Titanium Silver, Spinal Red, Saffire Blue and Galena Grey colour options.
