2021 Honda Scoopy is a unique looking scooter delivering 59 kmpl

Honda has introduced the 2021 Scoopy, a unique looking scooter in the Indonesian market which is priced starting IDR 19.95 million which roughly translates to INR 1.01 lakhs. The Scoopy is a popular motorscooter in the Indonesian market and the new-generation model is also likely to sell perform well in the market. The new generation Scoopy also comes with add-on features, a new-generation chassis and a new-generation engine. 

The 2021 Honda Scoopy is powered by a 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke SOHC with Honda enhanced Smart Power (eSP) that produces 9 PS of power and 9.3 Nm of torque matched to an automatic V-belt type gearbox. The new-generation Scoopy with the new Honda eSP engine and eSAF frame claims a fuel efficiency of 59 kmpl in Euro3 Test Mode. 

The 2021 Honda Scoopy features an underbone eSAF (enhance Smart Architecture Frame) chassis that rides on the telescopic front fork suspension and a swingarm type single suspension on the rear. The 2021 Scoopy features a hydraulically operated disc on the front and mechanically operated drum brake on the rear with Combi Braking System. The 2021 Honda Scoopy is 1,864mm in length, 683mm in width and 1,075mm in height with the seat height of 746mm and a wheelbase of 1251mm. The Honda Scoopy tips the scales at 95 kg at the kerb. The Honda Scoopy features a modern-retro design theme and comes with an oval apron mounted LED projector headlamp, apron mounted indicator lamps, minimalist handlebar shrouds, analogue-digital combination instruments console, a smart key system equipped with anti-theft alarm and an answer back system, closed glove box with a USB charging socket, functional luggage hook, a large 15.4-litre utility box for storage, rounded taillamps and 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. 

The Honda Scoopy is available in four variants – Sporty, Fashion, Prestige and Stylish. As of now, it is highly unlikely if the brand will plan to bring the Scoopy in the Indian market.
