Honda introduced its latest flagship motorcycle, the Honda GL1800 Goldwing in 2018. The latest generation model came with sharper styling a sleeker looks which appealed to some and also polarised its fanbase. The new design, however, grew over the minds and the smaller, svelter and sportier Goldwing has found its place in hearts of the new generation touring enthusiasts.

For 2021, Honda has decided to give the motorcycle an update, the biggest change is in the top-of-the-line Tour variant which comes with a three-piece luggage system. When the brand updated the Goldwing in 2018, the luggage capacity shrunk from 150 litres down to 110 litres. The brand has now increased the luggage capacity on the top box by adding 11 litres taking the capacity to 61 litres taking the overall capacity to 121 litres.

The rear backrest which is a part of the top box has also been redesigned and now comes with a more comfortable angle allowing more comfort on long cruises. Furthermore, Honda has also upgraded the seat upholstery to a mix of Suede and Synthetic leather, that improves the overall quality and comfort of the seats.

The standard Goldwing also comes with a new paint theme called Pearl Deep Mud Grey, while the Tour model continues to be available in Gunmetal Black as well as the classic colour of Candy Red. But the Candy Red shade is offered only on the DCT transmission model. The Honda Goldwing is offered in the standard Goldwing priced at USD 23,900, Goldwing DCT priced USD 25,100, Goldwing Tour at USD 28,300, the Goldwing Tour DCT USD 29,300 and the Goldwing Tour Air Bag DCT priced at USD 32,600.
