2020 TVS Apache RR 310 will get bigger digital speedo console

Written by Parichay Malvankar

A few days back, we got to know that the TVS Apache RR 310 will get an astronomical price hike when it transitions to BS6 emission norms. The bike will now cost almost INR 3 lakh on-road with the update, and that would be a huge hike compared to what the bike was first launched as. Now, new spyshots have emerged on the internet which reveal that the 2020 TVS Apache RR 310 will get a new digital speeometer console and dual tone paint schemes.

Seen in this new spyshot, the 2020 TVS Apache RR 310 will get a dual tone paint option which seems like a grey and black combination. Also seen in this image clearly is a larger coloured speedometer cluster. This is a lot different than the outgoing model and the new one looks like a TFT display. Also seen on the left side switch gear, the new buttons will allow to navigate between the settings and display options.

The Apache RR 310 is powered by a single-cylinder, 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve motor. In the BS4 avatar, the motor produces 34 PS of peak power and 27.3 Nm of peak torque. The BS6 update is expected to bring down the power and torque figures by a margin and we are not sure if there would be any change in weight. The TVS Apache RR 310 also got a recent update with the addition of slipper assist clutch.

We can expect TVS to introduce this new model in the coming weeks, ahead of the BS6 timeline.
