Maruti Suzuki has launched the AMT automatic (AGS) gearbox variants of the popular Vitara Brezza compact-SUV. This could be called the Nexon effect, as Tata Motors recently introduced the Nexon with an AMT gearbox. The Vitara Brezza with an AMT has been priced at INR 8.54 lakh onwards (ex-showroom).
Apart from the gearbox change, Maruti Suzuki has also worked on the styling details. The most popular SUV in our country, the Vitara Brezza now gets new glossy black finish for alloy wheels, front & rear chrome grille standard on all variants, all-black interiors on all variants. The Vitara Brezza now also complies with safety regulations for pedestrian safety ahead of timeline. The compact-SUV also comes with ISOFIC, high speed warning alert, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors & front seat belt pretensioner with force limiters as standard across all variants.
Maruti Suzuki claim to have tested the AMT gearbox rigorously for optimum performance for the Vitara Brezza.
The 2018 Vitara Brezza also gets two new body colours – Orange & Orange with White roof.
