The flagship of the Hinduja Group and India’s leading commercial manufacturer, Ashok Leyland, has launched the industry’s first 8-wheeler truck – AVTR 2620. In addition to this, the company also becomes the first and only one in India to offer a full range of trucks with lift axle technology from GVW of 25.5 to 47.5 tonnes. The new AVTR 2620 operates as 25.5-tonne (6×2) with the lift axle down. At the same time, with the lift axle up, it operates as a 4×2 with a GVW of 18.5-tonne. Thus, it offers customers operational flexibility. Customers can choose the option depending on the requirement.

Furthermore, Ashok Leyland says this also offers best-in-class Total Cost of Operation (TCO) benefits. The company says the new model aligns with its philosophy of ‘Appki Jeet, Humari Jeet’, which translates to – Your win is our win.
