2024 Hyundai Creta N Line Review

Hyundai just launched the N Line variant of the much-popular Creta SUV in the Indian market. This is the first time that the Creta comes with an N badge. The SUV comes with changes to its exteriors, interiors and also features mild mechanical changes such as a functional spoiler and retuned steering and suspension. However, the engine continues to be carried over from the standard Creta which recently received a thorough facelift.

Hyundai Creta N Line – Price, Variants and Colours

Hyundai is offering the Creta N Line with two variants N8 and N10. Each variant comes with a manual and automatic gearbox option, effectively making four trims – N8 6MT, N8 7DCT and N10 6MT, N10 7DCT. In addition to this, the brand also offers six colour options, three monotone and three dual tone.

These include a new Titan Grey Matte (New), Atlas White, Abyss Black, Tornado Blue with Black Roof, Atlas White with Black Roof and Shadow Grey with Black Roof. Prices for the N8 variant start from INR 16.82 lakh ex-showroom and goes upto INR 18.32 lakh ex-showroom. The N10 comes with a price tag of INR 19.34 lakh ex-showroom and goes upto INR 20.30 lakh ex-showroom.

Hyundai Creta N Line – Technical Specifications

The Hyundai Creta N Line comes with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-charged gasoline direct injection engine. The turbo-petrol engine produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. Hyundai offers a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission with the Creta N Line. In addition to this, the brand also offers the Creta N Line with larger 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the brand claims that the ground clearance on the N Line model remains similar to the standard Creta.

In terms of performance, the Creta N Line is capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds. The SUV gets three Driving Modes – Eco, Normal and Sports as well as three Traction Control Modes – Snow, Mud and Sand. Despite its impressive power and torque as well as its sports oriented avatar, the Creta N Line claims an efficiency of 18 kmpl in manual and 18.2 kmpl with the DCT automatic.

Hyundai Creta N Line – Key Features

The Hyundai Creta N Line comes with distinguishing features such as the N Line specific front and rear bumpers as well as Red accents. The N Line Creta SUV also features a functional spoiler that reduces the wake turbulence improving its drag coefficient. In addition to this, the Creta N Line also comes with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and twin-tipped exhaust muffler.

The SUV also gets an N Line specific interior theme with dark interiors premium upholstery and Red accents all over. The Creta N Line also comes with plenty of N badging, N-specific steering wheel, N specific gear knob, sporty metal pedals and N specific seats. The seats also comes with 8-way power operation for the driver and ventilation for both the driver and front passenger. The SUV also comes with a Level2 ADAS suite alongside 70 advanced safety features.
