2018 Porsche Cayenne launched in India

Porsche has launched the new Cayenne SUV in India. Cayenne is the best-selling car in the Porsche line-up in our market, and now comes in two additional variants. The Cayenne base version has been priced at INR 1.19 crore and the Cayenne e-Hybrid variant has been priced at INR 1.58 crore while the Cayenne Turbo costs INR 1.92 crore ex-showroom.

The base Porsche Cayenne is powered by a 3.0L, V6, turbocharged gasoline motor producing 335 HP of power and 450 Nm of torque. The e-Hybrid variant sports a 3.0L, V6 motor producing 464 HP of power and 700 Nm of torque backed by a 14.1 kWh battery. You can also drive the e-Hybrid version in pure electric mode for 44 km. The Cayenne Turbo gets a 4.0L, V8, TwinTurbo gasoline motor under the hood pumping out 550 HP of power and 770 Nm of torque. No diesel engine options on offer.

The Cayenne is built on the MLB-Evo platform from Volkswagen. The new Cayenne is longer, wider and lighter by 65 kg compared to its predecessor.
