ZERO21 unveils 2 high-speed electric 3-wheelers

The Hyderabad-based company, ZERO21 Renewable Energy Solutions, has unveiled two new high-speed electric three-wheelers. The brand unveiled the latest products at its facility in MG Automotives’ EV Park. The facility is located in Zaheerabad in Telangana. In addition to the ZERO21 electric three-wheelers, the Minister of Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Sri K.T. Rama Rao, also inaugurated the MG Automotovies’ EV Park. A soft launch of VAYU’s EV two-wheelers also took place. 

The two new high-speed three-wheelers by ZERO21 are – Teer and Smart Mule-X. The Founder and CEO of ZERO21 said the new products would widen ZERO21’s product portfolio. The company currently has the high-speed ReNEW Conversion kit and low-speed vehicles – Smart Mule Cargo and Smart Mule Passenger. The company expects growth in the high-speed three-wheeler market. Hence, ZERO21 says the new models are crucial for the company.

The brand is one of the manufacturers of electric kits that convert old petrol and diesel vehicles into EVs. These kits are also ICAT-approved. Currently, the company supplies vehicles to Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, Chandigarh, Karnataka and Maharashtra.

ZERO21 Teer & Smart Mule-X – Highlights

The brand’s first new product, Teer, is a high-speed passenger three-wheeler. The Teer has a rated power of 5 kW, while the peak power is up to 8.5 kW. The 48V electric three-wheeler puts out a peak torque of 72 Nm. The top speed of the Teer is 55 kmph. ZERO21 claims the Teer can deliver a range of 110 km on a single charge. 

On the other hand, the Smart Mule-X is a high-speed goods carrier. It has a rated power of 8 kW and peak power of up to 10.9 kW. The 72V Smart Mule-X produces a peak torque of 97 Nm. The top speed of the Smart Mule-X is the same as the Teer, 55 kmph. However, the Smart Mule-X offers a range of up to 125 km. This is 15 km more than the Teer. ZERO21 says the Smart Mule-X has a payload capacity of 750 kg.
