The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 is a very good looking motorcycle. If that was not enough, Yamaha has given it a dose of their Moto GP livery which makes the bike look even more sporty. Yamaha has launched the YZF-R15 V3 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Limited Edition priced at INR 1.42 lakh ex-showroom. The bike will be sold as a limited edition here in our market and is a part of the brands ‘The Call of Blue 2.0’ campaign.
The YZF-R15 V3 Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP Limited Edition gets a dark theme livery. One can notice the Monstery Energy branding and decals on the front above the headlamp and also the decals on the side fairing. You can also see many other Moto GP like detailing on the bike, like we see on the bike that Valentino Rossi rides in the championship.
Mechanically, there are no other changes to the bike.
Customers buying these limited edition bikes will also get a pit crew Yamaha branded T-Shirt.
The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 is the most advanced 150cc class motorcycle in our market. It is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke petrol motor which produces 19.3 PS of power at 10,000 RPM and 14.7 Nm of torque @ 8500 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. The best piece of tech on the bike is VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) which makes the bike versatile and delivers good performance in the city, and even out on the highway. The Yamaha R15 V3 comes with a dual-channel ABS system.
Compared to competition, which includes the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, KTM RC125 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF; the YZF-R15 V3.0 is a much more potent package, especially if you wish to take it to a race track to have fun. This Moto GP livery just demands an additional INR 2,000 over the standard model, which is justified for how good the bike now looks.
