We have fresh spy photos of the upcoming Yezdi Scrambler. The images prove that the motorcycle is now in its production-ready form. The bike in the spy shot gets a ribbed-style single-piece seat, knuckle guards, blacked-out side panels and engine. In the rear, we see a tyre hugger that holds the license plate.
Other than the Scrambler, we also see two other motorcycles in the photo. And potentially, these could be the two variants of the Yezdi Roadking. One of the motorcycles gets a windshield, a pillion backrest and a chrome exhaust, thus making us believe that this is the touring trim. Meanwhile, the other trim does not have the pillion backrest and the windshield. This particular motorcycle gets bar-ended mirrors and a blacked-out exhaust. Both these motorcycles have alloy wheels as opposed to the Scrambler that gets wire-spoke wheels. We do not have many details of the product as of yet.
What Can We Expect From The Yezdi Scrambler?
Being an adventure-oriented motorcycle, the motorcycle will get all the necessary kit and equipment. Standard fitments could include both front and rear disc setup, telescopic fork up front and dual gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear, a circular LED taillight, twin exhausts, a new front fender and more.
Expected Launch Date And Price
We anticipate that the motorcycle could make its way to the Indian shores sometime in 2022. And we expect a price tag of around 1.7 lakhs (ex-showroom) for Yezdi Scrambler. Once launched, the motorcycle will position itself right above the Hero XPulse 200 and sit below the more premium offering Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and Royal Enfield Himalayan. In recent years, the demand for adventure motorcycles is on the rise in India. These motorcycles are perfect for the ones looking to explore the varied terrains of the country. Along with this, customers now have a wide range of options to choose from as well. This enables them with more flexibility and hence attracts more customers to this segment.
