Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles have added new colours for the Yezdi Roadster for the Indian market. With the addition of the Crimson Dual Tone paint, the Yezdi Roadster is now available in a total of eight colours in India. The list includes Crimson Dual Tone, Inferno Red, Glacial White, Smoke Grey, Hunter Green, and Steel Blue which retails under the Dark range. Meanwhile, the Chrome range gets two colour shades, Sin Silver and Gallant Grey. Along with the Yezdi Roadster, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles have also added a new paint option to the Jawa 42 in India.
The mechanical specifications remain very much identical on the Dark and the Chrome range. And hence Yezdi Roadster continues with the BS6-compliant 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor makes 29.23 BHP and a peak torque of 28.95Nm. The Yezdi Roadster comes with a long list of features. This includes a fully digital instrument cluster with a real-time mileage indicator, distance to empty, gear position indicator and other run-of-the-mill information.
The Roadster Dark series gets a blacked-out theme with bar-end mirrors and a short flyscreen. Meanwhile, the Chrome range gets a metal finish on the powertrain and exhaust. Another key addition is the tall windscreen for optimum wind protection. This variant also gets conventional mirrors instead of bar-end ones. Meanwhile, both variants get a cushioned backrest for better pillion comfort.
The Yezdi Roadster uses a telescopic fork with 135mm wheel travel, and twin rear shock absorbers with 100mm wheel travel. Braking duty comes from 320mm front and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
The Yezdi Roadster goes directly against the likes of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Other options in the price bracket include the KTM 200 Duke, Honda H’Ness CB350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Jawa Forty Two 2.1 and the newly launched Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
