Good news for Yamaha fans all over the world. The motorcycle manufacturer has recently unveiled new colours for the 2023 YZF-R3 and R7 sports bikes. As part of this, customers will now get a new colour option for each bike for the new model year.
Yamaha YZF-R3 – New Purple Shade
The Yamaha YZF-R3’s new colour shade is an exquisite purple colour for the 2023 model year. Yamaha USA’s website has already shown what it looks like, and the initial impression is quite striking. The R3 last received a significant update in 2019. In which it received all new styling. For 2023, that does not change, and the motorcycle remains exactly the same as the 2022 version. Thus, the motorcycle carries the same hardware components besides the new “Phantom Purple” paint option.
The 2023 R3 retains the 321cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder DOHC engine. The suspension setup uses inverted front forks at the front and a preload-adjustable single for the rear. The wheels also remain the same at 17 inches. The front comes with a 110/70 tyre, while the rear with a 140/70 tyre. The front (298mm disc) and rear (220mm disc) also come with ABS, which adds to the safety. Furthermore, its certified fuel efficiency of 23.808 kmpl can take the motorcycle to cover 333 kilometres under a single fuel tank.
As per Yamaha US, the price tag for the 2023 R3 reads as quoting USD 5,499, which translates roughly to INR 4.40 lakh. There also are two colour options available – “Team Yamaha Blue” and “Midnight Black”.
Yamaha YZF-R7 Now Available In White
Not just the R3, there is a new colour addition for The YZF-R7 as well. For the 2023 model, customers can get the R7 with this new “Intensity White” colour shade. One can never go wrong with a white shade, which is the same for R7. Like the R3, it also comes in two other colour options – “Performance Black” and “Team Yamaha Blue”.
