Yamaha’s 67th Anniversary with ‘Ties in a New Age’ theme

Yamaha Motor Company Ltd. was incorporated on 1st July 1955 in Japan. And today, it is celebrating its 67th anniversary. Yamaha’s journey through these 67 years was packed with rich racing history and innovations. From its first production model, the YA-1, till today, Yamaha continues its commitment to delivering exciting, stylish and sporty products. 

To date, the brand calls its foundation day “Yamaha Day”. The brand celebrates this day worldwide with an aim to encourage its employees to gain a better understanding of the brand and its values. 

To commemorate this milestone, Yamaha Motor India (YMI) celebrated its parent company’s anniversary at its Corporate Office in Chennai. The celebrations also took place at its factory locations in Kanchipuram and Surajpur. This year’s theme of focus was ‘Ties in a New Age’.

‘Ties in a New Age’ Theme

‘Ties’ is one of the key principles that makes Yamaha a Kando Creating Company committed to the betterment of society. It also includes understanding the customer, coexistence, and interaction with local communities and society. Furthermore, it also includes living in harmony with the natural environment. With this principle, Yamaha aims to connect people and the world by offering products which exceed their expectations. 

Celebrations In India

Yamaha Motor India conducted several activities on the occasion of Yamaha’s 67th anniversary. These activities educated the employees on the brand’s successful journey since 1955. In addition, there were also fun-filled activities and games for all Yamaha employees and their families at all company locations. Meanwhile, Yamaha dealers also invited customers from their regions for celebrations. The dealerships also organised a cake-cutting ceremony for all these customers. 

Keeping with this year’s theme, Yamaha also organised a ride with its Blue Streaks Riding Community. The ride took place in 10 cities. These cities are – Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, Guwahati and Kolkata. 

Yamaha also partnered with Child Rights and You (CRY). The non-government organisation and Yamaha conducted an engagement activity in Delhi. Blue Streaks Community customers rode down to NGOs in their cities. Over there, they connected with 400 children from underserved communities. The engagement activity allowed Yamaha customers to spend quality time and bond with these children. Customers also wrote personalised messages and contributed toward their educational needs.
