Yamaha launches R15 V4 in white colour at INR 1,85,900

India Yamaha Motor brings in some fresh air. It has updated its portfolio by adding slight changes to the R15 V4 and the R15S. As we understand, the updates are quite less. But they add to enhance the exclusiveness of the motorcycles. In this news article, we will share these updates on the R15 V4  along with the other details of the motorcycles.

R15 V4 Now Available With A New Colour Shade

The 2023 R15 V4 is now available in a new colour scheme named, Intensity White. This shade looks pretty striking and eye-catchy. More so on the aggressive and proportionate bodywork of the R15. The white bodywork meets the contrasting red wheels and golden upside-down forks. Thus making it look even more cool and special. As for the S variant, the motorcycle has not received any visual changes and thus it continues to look the very similar as the V4’s predecessor.

Quick Shifter Now A Standard Fitment For R15 V4 Intensive White Colour

The Intensity White colour shade of the R15 V4 now comes equipped with a quick shifter as standard. Previously, this kit was only available with R15M, MotoGP, and Racing Blue colours as standard fitment. Buyers opting for the Dark Knight and Metallic Red colour scheme can also get the quick shifter. For them, they need to pay an additional cost and get it fixed. As we understand, the S trim, however, does not benefit from a quick shifter just as of yet.

Hardware and Powertrain Details

The engine of the R15 V4 is the same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine gets variable valve actuation (VVA) that churns out 18.1 BHP and 14.2Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a six-speed gearbox aided with an assist and slipper clutch.

On the hardware front, the key difference is that the V4 gets upside-down forks. Meanwhile, the S makes do with conventional telescopic forks. The rest of the motorcycle remains pretty much the same. At the rear, suspension duties are taken care of by a preload-adjustable monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking is handled by a single disc at both ends. Dual-channel ABS too is standard fitment with the motorcycle.

Price Details

The new Intensive White paint shade of the Yamaha R14 V4 will retail with a price tag of INR 1.85 lakh.
