Yamaha has introduced the new Vintage Edition of the brand’s popular FZS-FI priced at INR 1,09,700 ex-showroom, Delhi. The brand has also announced that the Yamaha FZS-FI Vintage Edition ABS will be available at all the authorized Yamaha Dealerships from the 1st week of December 2020. The new Vintage Edition also features Bluetooth Connectivity and new special styling but there are no mechanical changes made to the motorcycle.
The Yamaha FZ-S is powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 149cc air-cooled 4-stroke 2-valve SOHC engine that produces 12.4 PS of power and 13.6 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. The Yamaha FZ-S features telescopic front fork suspension, 7-Step Adjustable Monocross Suspension on the rear, 282mm hydraulic disc brake on the front and 220mm disc on the rear. The FZ-S also comes with 17-inch alloy wheels shod in 100/80 front and 140/60 rear tubeless tyres.
The Yamaha FZ-S Vintage Edition features the same DNA from the original FZ marque which was launched back in 2008 and revolutionised the naked roadster segment in the Indian market. To augment its legacy, Yamaha has given the special edition model with timeless vintage graphics and a new leather finish single piece seat along with the addition of the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X, Bluetooth connecticity system.
Furthermore, the Yamaha FZ-S FI Vintage Edition is offered in a Cyan paint theme with chrome accents, silver graphics, muscular styling, stacked LED headlamps, FZ signature position lights, muscular fuel tank, sleek rear section with pillion grabrails, sleek engine cowling, underbelly cowl, a pod-style instruments console with a Negative LCD instrument cluster panel that features Bluetooth connectivity.
In its standard avatar, the Yamaha FZ-S FI is offered in four colours – Metallic Red, Matte Black, Dark Matte Blue and Grey & Cyan Blue. It is priced starting INR 1,04,700 ex-showroom, Delhi. Recently, the company also introduced the Yamaha FZ-S FI Dark knight with the new Bluetooth connectivity feature priced at INR 1,07,700 ex-showroom Delhi.
