Yamaha has launched the new FZ-X Chrome in the Indian market at the price of INR 1,39,800 ex-showroom. The new Chrome edition FZ-X is a bid to improve the sales of the FZ-X by attracting the Neo-retro segment customers. This will also attract new young buyers. The brand also reveals that the new Chrome FZ-X brings a blend of both style and performance. In addition to this, Yamaha is also offering the first 100 online customer’s a Casio G-Shock watch on delivery of the vehicle.
Yamaha FZ-X – Powertrain and Features
Powering the Yamaha FZ-X is a 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The engine produces 12.4 PS of power and 13.3 Nm of torque. The brand also offers the FZ-X Chrome with Traction Control System (TCS), Front and Rear disc brakes and a single-channel ABS.
The Yamaha FZ-X also comes with feature such as LED lighting and Multi-function LCD instrument cluster. The motorcycle also comes with a rear mudguard, lower engine guard, and Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect App. But the main highlight of the new FZ-X Chrome is the Chrome body colour with Matte Black accents and a Gold finish alloy.
Yamaha at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024
At the Yamaha pavilion, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, the brand also showcased the Matte Titan variant of FZ-X. The Matte Titan variant was recently launched in the Indian market and showcased alongside the Chrome variant. In addition to this, the Yamaha also showcased the Yamaha R1, the R7, R3 and the R15.
The MT-series was also seen at the Expo with the MT-07, MT-03, and MT-15. In addition to its motorcycles, the brand also showcased the Yamaha N-Max (155cc) and Grand Filano (125cc). The Grand Filano 125cc Fi Hybrid Power Assist Engine similar to the RAY ZR 125 Hybrid and Fascino 125 FI Hybrid. Also, the Aerox (155cc) power scooter was on display in all its colours at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024.
