Ola S1 X electric scooter with 4 kWh battery launched at INR 1.10 lakh

Ola has launched the new Ola S1 X electric scooter in India with a large 4 kWh battery at INR 1.10 lakh ex-showroom. The Ola S1 X now comes with three battery packs a 2 kWh, 3 kWh and a 4 kWh. Furthermore, the entry-level model the Ola S1 X with a 2 kWh battery comes with a price tag of INR 79,999/- ex-showroom. The brand has revealed that the booking window for the Ola S1 X with the 4 kWh battery pack is now open. Interested customers can book the Ola electric scooter through Ola’s online and offline booking channels.

Ola S1 X 4 kWh Electric Scooter – Technical Specifications

Powering the Ola S1 X is a rear wheel hub integrated 2.7kW/6 kW (Nominal/Peak) motor. The motor is matched to a 4 kWh battery pack. The battery pack offers an IDC range of 190 km (IDC) on a single charge. Ola claims that the electric scooter can achieve a top speed of 90 kmph. In addition to this, the brand also claims a 0-40 kmph acceleration in just 3.3 seconds.

Ola S1 X 4 kWh Electric Scooter – Battery Warranty

Ola offers a battery warranty of 8 year or 80,000 kms as standard. At an extra, INR 6,999/- + GST customers can also buy an additional warranty that extends the standard warranty to 100,000 km. And, by paying INR 14,999 + GST which can bring the warranty to upto 125,000 kms. However, the tenure of 8 years remains standard.

Ola S1 X 4 kWh Electric Scooter – Charging & Features

The Ola S1 X with the 4 kWh battery pack the electric scooter comes with a 4.3 inch Segmented LCD display. The scooter also gets a physical key and a 34-litre boot space. The Ola S1 X also comes with twin telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The scooter gets steel wheels , drum brakes and combi braking system.

Furthermore, the Ola S1 X also gets Cruise Control, Predictive Maintenance, Ola Electric app control, OTA updates, Reverse Mode etc. Also, the Ola S1 X features Eco, Normal & Sports riding modes. Ola offers a Portable 750 W charger with the scooter which takes around 6.5 hours to charge the EV to 100%.
