Waiting for Toyota Innova Hycross Hybrid model now at eight months

The waiting period for Toyota Innova Hycross petrol has been lowered down from one year to six months and the petrol-hybrid variant will be delivered in 8 months.

According to the demand, Toyota has been modifying the Innova Hycross’s production capacity. Toyota Innova Hycross top variants ZX and ZX(O) received a huge demand which resulted in halting its booking. According to sources, the Innova Hycross petrol-hybrid variant still has a relatively strong demand, and the majority of the production capacity has been set aside for this variant.

Dealers level waiting period for Toyota Innova Hycross:

Although Toyota has announced the waiting periods, a brief check with a few dealers revealed that both the petrol and hybrid models are being supplied earlier than the company has stated. Most outlets are delivering the Toyota Innova Hycross petrol version in a maximum of 45 days to two months. Additionally, waiting periods for the Innova Hycross hybrid differ based on the model. The Toyota Innova Hycross hybrid VX 8-seater, which has a second-row bench seat, possesses greater demand than the 7 seater model and has a waiting period of over four months. The waiting period for the VX 7 seater is approximately three months.

Engine and specs:

The Innova Hycross was introduced at the starting price of 19.77 lakh (ex showroom).  The petrol variant has a four cylinder, DOHC engine that generates the power of 173 bhp at 6600 rpm and a torque of 209 Nm at 4500 rpm, and comes with a automatic (CVT) transmission. Whereas, the hybrid (electric + petrol) variant, also has a four cylinder, DOHC engine that produces the power of 184 bhp at 6600 rpm and a torque of 188 Nm at 4400 rpm with a automatic (CVT) transmission. Innova Hycross comes with a panoramic sunroof, tri eye LED headlamps, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control AC in both front and rear, and roof-mounted AC vents. When it comes to safety features, it has an ABS, ESC, hill start assist, electronic parking brake along with auto-hold, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, auto high beam, lane trace assist, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and pre-collision warning alert.
