Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team has recently signed a three year contract with VR46 Racing Apparel, Valentino Rossi’s own merchandising company, to become their official supplier for merchandise.
The deal refers to other star MotoGP riders like Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrso and Cal Crutchlow whose branded clothing is supplied by the company. This will create more jobs at the plant set up by Rossi in his home arena of Rimini.
Also, rumors were flying along that this year Rossi would loose one of his biggest clients for the VR46 Racing Apparel, Marc Marquez, due to their rivalry and the Sepang crash. But a spokesman for the double world champion has since confirmed to MCN that they would remain in partnership for the foreseeable future.
