Volvo recently launched the S60 R-Design sedan in India and now, it has launched the XC60 R-Design SUV at a price of Rs. 51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
This R-Design variant gets cosmetic changes over the regular variants and comes in a red paint job with silver finish on the ORVMs. The car gets a revised grille with honeycomb design, 18″ 5-spoke alloy wheels, chrome finish on the exhaust tips and rear bumper diffuser.
On the inside, the R-Design gets seats with R-Design badging, steering wheel with R-design badge and paddle shifters, satellite navigation system and a reversing camera.
The R-Design variants are available for sale in the D4 Summum trim level. They are powered by the new 2.0L, 4-cylinder Drive-E engine pumping out 179 BHP of power and 400 Nm of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
With the R-Design body kits, the S60 and XC60 have become more expensive by approximately Rs. 4.6 lakh and Rs. 5.2 lakh respectively.
