Volkswagen Taigun SUV subscription starts at INR 28,000

Volkswagen India extends its subscription-based ownership model to its latest launch, the Taigun. And with this, Volkswagen’s entire product range is now available as a part of this subscription-based ownership model. Volkswagen has tied up with OASIS (ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd.) to enable this model. For Taigun, Volkswagen is offering two variants as a part of the car subscription plan, i.e., Dynamic Line and GT Plus line. This subscription model starts at a monthly rental of INR 28,000. This rental amount will cover 100% on-road financing, periodic maintenance and insurance cover. Customers will have the flexibility to opt for a rental period of 24, 36 or 48 months.

In addition to this, the carmaker is also providing the option to upgrade or return the car at the customer’s convenience. Customers will get the vehicles with a white number plate. Currently, the subscription model is available at 30 Volkswagen outlets. This includes Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Volkswagen mentioned that customers can start opting for Taigun under this subscription model starting from today. Interested customers can visit Volkswagen India’s official website and get to know more about the plan.

Increasing Demand For Subscription Based Ownership Model

The subscription-based ownership model has been getting ever-popular in India recently. This is due to the fact that these subscription models do provide a whole lot of flexibility. Firstly, the customer need not pay upfront for the entire amount of the car. Secondly, the customer need not think about the other expenses like maintenance, road tax etc. Furthermore, with this model, customers can choose to change their models at regular intervals.

Moreover, customers residing for a limited period of time in a particular city will make the most out of this subscription model. Selling your car can become a nightmare if things do not fall into place. But, with a subscription-based model, this can easily be tackled. In addition to this, a growing number of car manufacturers have recently started their car subscription plans. This does help in making this model accessible to more customers.
