Volkswagen launches the special edition Polo and Vento dubbed Turbo edition starting at INR 6.99 lakh and INR 8.69 lakh ex-showroom, respectively. Both the Polo and Vento Turbo edition features the brand’s powerful yet efficient Turbocharged Stratified Injection (TSI) technology engine. The Turbo edition Polo and Vento will be available on the Comfortline TSI MT trim and the bookings for both the Polo hot hatchback as well as the Vento Sedan are now open.
Turbo Edition Design & Styling
The Volkswagen Polo & Vento Turbo edition comes with a sporty appeal on the exteriors as well as its interiors. The Turbo edition comes with a Turbo edition fender badge, glossy black spoiler, ORVM caps and sporty seat covers as well as automatic climate control which enhances the comfort of the cabin. The seat covers on the Turbo edition features a honeycomb styling, contrast stitching in red and ‘VW’ motif on the backrests.
Powertrain
The powerplant reflects Volkswagen’s maximum power with minimum consumption philosophy. Powering the Volkswagen Polo & Vento Turbo Edition is a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre TSI three-cylinder in-line turbo-petrol motor from the EA 211 engine family that churns out 110 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual transmission. The Polo returns a fuel efficiency of 16.47 kmpl whereas the Vento returns a fuel economy of 16.35 kmpl certified by the ARAI.
The Volkswagen Polo and Vento Turbo edition are available in all colours offered on the Polo and Vento. The cars are available for booking at all Volkswagen dealerships as well as Volkswagen’s online sales channels.
