Volkswagen has announced the introduction of ‘Corporate Edition’ for the Polo, Ameo, Vento & Tiguan cars in India. This new ‘Corporate Edition’ will be available only on the diesel powered cars and is valid on select variants of Polo, Ameo, Vento & Tiguan. Thanks to the reduction in corporate tax by the government, this decision has been made to allow for the benefits to reach the buyers.
Apart from this, Volkswagen is also offering a 5-year warranty and 5-year RSA as standard on their diesel range of cars, to offer some peace of mind to customers who are worried about the future of diesel cars here in India. The German car manufacturer reveals that this new ‘Corporate Edition’ can be purchased by Chartered Accountants, Lawyers, Architects, MSMEs, Government employees & corporate individuals. Under this package, potential buyers will get benefits on buying the car, service, accessories and even loyalty incentives.
Volkswagen will retail the ‘Corporate Edition’ of the Polo, Ameo, Vento & Tiguan across all their 132 sales touchpoints in India.
Volkswagen does not have a new car for India in the near future. The Polo & Vento have been on sale for nearly a decade, while competition has moved to next generation of cars. The Ameo although in a very high volume compact-sedan segment, isn’t even close to the best-seller when it comes to outright sales. Even the Tiguan in the SUV segment is a tad bit expensive, and not as butch to look at considering the competition at that price range. However, what works is all of these Volkswagen range of cars are brilliant to drive, and that is the basic which should be appreciated.
