Volkswagen India introduces lease and rental solutions

Volkswagen India has introduced Omni-channel mobility solutions that integrate Power Lease and Secure to enable easy acquisition of Volkswagen cars also offering a flexible rental programme that reduces financial stress on the customer. The brand has integrated the Omni-channel with its online services and is available through Volkswagen’s official website.

Through the brand’s Power Lease solutions customers can obtain all BS6 compliant cars through the ‘Pay for Usage’ model that gives the customer a benefit of zero downpayments, low rental charges, insurance cover and flexible maintenance options. The Power Lease solutions provide an option of two, three or four-year tenure giving them options of buyback at the end of the term.

Customers can also choose from Wet-Lease and Dry-Lease options where wet-lease covers all maintenance and offers buyback at market rates and under dry-lease the customer has to bear all the maintenance and gets the buyback price according to a predetermined value. The brand also offers upgrades to other Volkswagen cars and on purchase of Volkswagen Vento or the Tiguan Allspace customers can also avail financial assistance through Volkswagen Financial Services.

As an introductory offer, the brand is providing with a 2-month lease rental holiday for cars leased under the program till 31st July 2020.

The brand has dropped the 1.2-litre TSI engine from the line up in favour of the new 1.0-litre TSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) and 1.0-litre MPI (Multipoint fuel Injection) engine from the EA 211 engine family. However, the Limited Edition cars are powered by a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre TSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) three-cylinder in-line petrol engine that produces 110 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual transmission.
