Volkswagen Passenger Cars India added yet another sales and service touchpoint in the city of Bhubaneswar. Under the guidance of Mr. Charchit Mishra, Director, OSL Group the sales touchpoint has come up at Pahal. Whereas the service touchpoint is in Bhanpur, Cuttack.
VW Extends Its Dealership Networks
With the introduction of Volkswagen sales and service touchpoints in Bhubaneshwar. VW brings in its world-class German-engineered products and services for aspirational Indian customers. The facility has a 6-car display area in the showroom that will host VW India’s range of products. This includes India’s safest SUVW – the Taigun, the striking & exhilarating Virtus and the global best-seller by Volkswagen, the Tiguan. The 2S facility also provides a range of after-sales services through its expansive 19-bay workshop that is operated by skilled and trained technicians.
With the inauguration of Volkswagen Bhubaneswar, the network strength of VW India increased to 159 sales and 126 service touchpoints. All of these are present across 119 cities in India.
Volkswagen India Made Significant Progress Under India 2.0 Project
Under the India 2.0 project, VW India has made significant changes. The carmaker’s recent two products namely, Virtus and Taigun both are going pretty well in terms of sales volume. These products are now more India-centric with a host of changes and upgrades. Staying true to the core values of Volkswagen, these products are now appealing to a wider section of the audience.
With the increase in the number of touchpoints, VW is now more accessible. This helps in attracting more customers thus adding to its sales volume. In the future as well, VW India aims to carry forward this momentum. With more interest and focus shifting towards going electric, VW has big plans for the Indian market.
