Volkswagen India now on WhatsApp for customer connect

Volkswagen India is all set to enhance the customer experience by enabling Whatsapp as a mode of communication for its customers. Under the Sarvottam 2.0 initiative, Volkswagen India is bringing a lot of new changes aimed towards improving the brand’s accessibility, network, services and information.

Whatsapp For Business

With the influx of web services and applications, customers want everything at their fingertips with the use of smartphones. Keeping this in mind, Volkswagen India is now available via WhatsApp which will enable easy and on-the-go access to information. The customers can now leverage Whatsapp to receive updates of the new launches and the upcoming products, book a test drive or service appointment, inquire about the after-sales service, find the nearest dealership or service workshop, reach out to RSA, contact the customer care number and more. Volkswagen claims that the Whatsapp chatbot is using an AI-based tool built with NLP (Natural Language Processing) which will be smart enough to reply to all the customer enquiries in no time. The customer can make use of this feature directly but, if the brand wants to communicate with the customers via this channel, then is the choice of the customer if they want to opt-in for this service or not. This is done as a confidentiality measure. Customers need to reach out to Volkswagen India on the verified WhatsApp contact number +91 84339 50909 to avail of this service.

Upcoming Volkswagen Cars

The much-awaited Taigun, which has been generating a lot of hype in the automotive market will likely hit the Indian roads by mid-2021. This is the first-ever product from the VAG group based on the India specific MQB-A0-IN platform. Recently, some spy spot of Volkswagen Virtus resurfaced in the media, suggesting that Volkswagen might be working to launch the next-generation Vento. But, one thing is sure that, the MQB-A0-IN platform will underpin the upcoming Vento. There are also rumours suggesting that the next-generation Polo will likely come up next year, finally replacing the 10-year model which is still on sale in India.
