As per the report details, VW has a total of 0.92 per cent market share in India for FY2024 -25. As far as the sales volume is concerned, it is the Virtus sedan that has been keeping the brand’s legacy alive in India.

The report shows that in year-on-year growth figures, Virtus grew 5.4 per cent in the previous fiscal year. However, the mid-size SUV Taigun was less desired and grew only 0.1 per cent. Meanwhile, the third and last product of VW, the Tiguan, faced a downfall of a horrendous 98.9 per cent.

As of now, the best-selling month for VW has been October 2024, where it managed to sell 2,351 Virtus and 2,028 Taigun cars, respectively.
