Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a brand-new identity for its emerging mobility solutions. The brand has christened the new vertical ‘Vida’ which will include Hero MotoCorp’s upcoming electric vehicles (EVs). Hero Electric announced the Visa brand at a one-of-its-kind Carbon Neutral event at the exclusive Clarence Island in Dubai on March 3rd. The brand also announced a USD 100 Million Global Sustainability Fund. Thanks to the funding Hero will aim to establish global partnerships, spearheaded by the BML Munjal University (BMU) and Hero MotoCorp. The objective is to
nurture more than 10,000 entrepreneurs on ESG solutions that have a positive impact on the planet, revealed the brand.
The new brand logo comes with a ‘sunrise’ visual identity and is Powered by Hero. The brand reveals that “Vida means life”. Furthermore, Dr Pawan Munjal also reveals that Vida’s sole purpose is to create a positive impact on the world. The brand has been created to “move us all forward in meaningful ways.” According to Hero MotoCorp, the name matches perfectly with what we are building for our future generations.
Under the Vida, Powered by Hero, the company will offer initiatives for emerging mobility solutions. Hero MotoCorp has also announced that the first electric vehicles under the new brand will be officially unveiled on July 1, 2022, to coincide with the birth anniversary of Dr Brijmohan Lall, legendary Chairman Emeritus of Hero MotoCorp. In addition to this, the brand also revealed that the production of the new Vida model will be done at Hero MotoCorp’s ‘Green’ manufacturing facility in Chittoor, India. The brand will also start deliveries to customers will begin later in 2022.
The event was also attended by global thought leaders, senior government representatives and the diplomatic corps in the UAE. Hero MotoCorp’s policymakers and various stakeholders including the Board of Directors and senior employees from around the world attended the event. Also in attendance were dealers, global distributors, supply chain partners and other associates.
