Valentino Rossi Kicks Marc Marquez?

We’ve always seen the heated battles between Rossi and Marquez, but this GP season has brought us some controversial scenario.

This Sunday during the GP race in Sepang, Malyasia. Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi were having a heated battle during the race with a few contacts by Marc in the earlier laps. On the 13th lap, turn 14, of the circuit, we saw both riders make contact and Marquez crashed out. As you can see from the video below, you can see Rossi’s leg moving, but Rossi denies that he kicked Marquez. He claims that Marquez came too close and made contact where his handlebars touch Rossi’s left leg and he crashed, and his leg was let loose after Marquez crashed.

Rossi did admit that he tried to run Marc wide in the corner cause that’s the only thing he could do he said. He said he wanted to run him wide case that was the only way he could get loose from him as he claimed that Marquez was deliberately holding him up to cost him his championship (Lorenzo behind Rossi by 7 points). Rossi had the same accusations in Phillip island race as well.

After the investigation and watching all the video inputs, the board has decided to give Valentino Rossi a penalty of 3 points. Because Rossi already has one Penalty Point from Misano, it means he will start the Valencia title showdown with Lorenzo from last place on the grid.

The race ended with Dani Pedrosa taking the 1st place, Jorge Lorenzo at 2nd and Valentino Rossi at 3rd

There has been an outrage between #93 and #46 fans and fans have pleaded to revoke Rossi’s penalty points to restore racing integrity. Now will it happen? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more updates.
