The launch of the Shockwave enduro bike came as a shock to the audience due to its specifications and power. Based on a lightweight chassis, the Shockwave weighs only 120 kg, and it is powered by a 14.7 bhp electric motor. However, it makes a mammoth 505 Nm of peak torque due to variable gearing, which makes it tremendously spec-ed.
With its lightweight and agile chassis, the Shockwave can sprint 0-60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Moreover, it can reach a top speed of up to 120 km/h, which is impressive for an electric enduro bike. The IDC-claimed range for it stands at 165 km per charge.
Meanwhile, the hardware package constitutes 37 mm USD forks at the front with 200 mm travel and a monoshock suspension with 180 mm travel at the rear. It also gets a 270 mm front disc brake and a 220 mm rear disc brake, coupled with the dual-channel ABS.
As of now, the company has not revealed the battery size and other crucial details, but it has started accepting bookings. The introductory price for the first 1,000 customers is Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), which is bound to be increased to Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom) later.
The deliveries of the Shockwave Enduro bike are slated for the first quarter of 2026.
