Maharashtra government has banned Uber, Ola Cabs and all other web based taxi operators from immediate effect. This move is in sync with the Transport Department’s decision to ban all web based taxi service providers.
The Union Government has also suggested that all states and union territories should ban the services of all web based taxi operators.
What started with a ban only in Delhi, it seems like things are not really in the favour of Uber & other taxi service providers at all.
If all states issue a ban on Uber and other web based taxi service providers, will the companies still try and get back to functioning? Or shut shop?
