TVS updated Apache RTR 310 for vibrations & throttle lag

TVS Motor Company has reportedly rolled out a new software update for the brand’s flagship Streetfighter – the Apache RTR 310. According to reports, a special service camp conducted by the brand has installed updates to the Apache RTR 310 which claims to reduce the vibrations on the reverse inclined single cylinder engine. Reports reveal that during Carecraft camp updates to the electronic system of the Apache RTR 310 have been loaded. In addition to the electronic updates the camp also offered other mechanical updates to reduce the vibrations on the motorcycle.

Apache RTR 310 – Reduced Vibrations on Seat & Handlebar

Reports reveal that, the TVS Apache RTR 310 has vibrations on the seat and handlebar. To resolve those issues, the company replaced the seat cushions and also placed some foam on the fuel tank. In addition to this, the stock handlebar damper was also replaced with a heavier damper to better absorb vibrations. This is likely to reduce the overall vibrations felt by the rider on the Apache RTR 310.

Apache RTR 310 – Throttle Lag Problem Resolved

Additionally, there were reports of a throttle lag problem on the Apache RTR 310. Reports reveal that while rolling off the throttle there was a gap of around .5 seconds before the rpm started to settle. Also, the quick shifter would also randomly turn off on the motorcycle. TVS at the Carecraft camp resolved these issues ECU software update and by rerouting the quick shifter cables. The software update has also improved the overall throttle response of the motorcycle, reveal reports.

Apache RTR 310 – Engine Specifications

Powering the Apache RTR 310 is a 312cc single-cylinder reverse inclined liquid-cooled engine with forged aluminium pistons. The engine produces 35 Bhp of power and 28.7 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and gears with negative back rack angle. The motorcycle also comes with a bi-directional quick shifter and an anti-hopping slipper clutch with assist function reducing clutch operation force.
