Two-Wheelers Segment
In the two-wheelers segment, there was a 4% increase in total sales, moving from 299,658 units in July 2022 to 312,307 units in July 2023. Domestic two-wheeler sales displayed a notable 17% growth. Rising from 201,942 units in July 2022 to 235,230 units in July 2023.
Motorcycle sales exhibited a 2% growth, reaching 153,942 units in July 2023 compared to 150,340 units in July 2022. Meanwhile, scooter sales achieved a 5% growth, with figures ascending from 116,500 units in July 2022 to 121,941 units in July 2023.
Electric Vehicle Segment
In the EV segment, TVS iQube Electric witnessed a surge in sales, reaching 13,306 units in July 2023 compared to 6,304 units in July 2022. Impressively, TVS iQube has garnered substantial customer acceptance, amassing over 150,000 unit sales. This sought-after scooter is now accessible in more than 316 locations across 196 cities, including Nepal.
International Business
Talking about international business, the company’s total exports stood at 89,213 units in July 2023, a decrease from the 112,032 units recorded in July 2022. Similarly, two-wheeler exports amounted to 77,077 units in July 2023, down from the 97,716 units registered in July 2022.
Three Wheeler Segment
As for the three-wheeler segment, the company observed sales of 13,670 units in July 2023, a decrease from the 14,981 units recorded in July 2022.
