TVS Motor Company has released its sales report for February 2023. The two-wheeler maker registered a total sales of 2,76,150 units in the month of February 2023. This figure compares with 2,81,714 units sold in the month of February 2022.
With the growing sales figure, TVS is doing pretty well in the market. With a slew of new product launches, the Indian two-wheeler maker is attracting more customers to the showrooms.
Detailed Sales Breakup
Two-Wheelers
For the two-wheeler segment, the total sales stood at 2,67,026 units in the month of February 2023. This figure compares with 2,67,625 units in the month of February 2022. The domestic two-wheeler registered a growth of 28 per cent with the sales figure increasing from 1,73,198 units in February 2022 to 221,402 units in February 2023.
The motorcycle segment registered a total sales of 1,26,243 units in February 2023. The figure for the same period last year stood at 1,43,523 units in February 2022. For the scooter segment, TVS registered a growth of 21 per cent. The sales increased from 86,616 units in the month of February 2022 to 1,04,825 units in February 2023.
Electric Vehicles
TVS iQube is the only offering in the electric scooter segment. It has been receiving an overwhelming response from customers. The electric scooters recorded its highest-ever sales in February 2023 for a total of 15,522 units. This is against the sales of 2,238 units in February 2022. TVS iQube Electric is currently available in more than 100 cities across 200 touchpoints. TVS mentioned that iQube is selling more than 10,000 units for the fourth consecutive month with a strong order pipeline.
International Business
As for the company’s total export figures. TVS registered sales of 53,405 units in February 2023 as against 107,574 units in February 2022. The two-wheeler exports registered a total sales of 45,624 units in February 2023 as against 94,427 units in February 2022.
Three-Wheelers
The three-wheeler segment of the company registered a total sales of 9,124 units in February 2023 as against 14,089 units in February 2022.
