TVS MotoSoul 2nd edition got off to a great start in Goa. Coincidentally enough, TVS recently achieved the 5 million global sales milestone for its Apache range. This makes the timing of the event so very perfect.TVS MotoSoul provides an exhilarating experience for racers, riders and performance enthusiasts alike. We get to experience multiple racing events as well as action-packed performances by leading artists.
On Day 1 of TVS MotoSoul, the key area of focus was the TVS Ronin platform. Ronin is one of the popular products from TVS India’s lineup. The motorcycle has a cult following for its modern-retro profile, a first in the Indian two-wheeler segment. To further spice up things, TVS showcased its full potential and unveiled 4 custom builds of Ronin. The company also set foot its foray into a new format of racing called Flat Track Racing.
Another Ronin custom gets the name of Musashi, created by Indonesia-based Smoked Garage. Staying true to its name, Ronin Musashi is probably the best example of a free-spirited entity. The custom design looks quite attractive and striking. The design works see no boundaries or limitations. Hence we get to see such a radical outlook of the motorcycle. Some of the key highlights of the works include a reworked handlebar, wire mesh headlamp cover, custom engine guard and horizontal back-link rear suspension. The motorcycle gets a blacked-out profile. This aids in creating a noticeable contrast with the golden USD forks.
Of four, one of the Ronin customs builds is Agonda. Created by Germany-based JvB Moto. The name derives from Agonda Beach, which is one of the popular beaches in Goa.
Then we have a Ronin custom built in India named Wakizashi, created by Rajputana Customs. This gives the motorcycle a cafe racer profile with a rider-only seat, low-set and pulled-back handlebar, wire-spoke wheels and custom-designed sculpted fuel tank.
There’s also this TVS’s own factory custom-built named SCR. This has been customised by the TVS Design Team.
TVS will bring Ronin to this project. The aim is to create a new breed of racing enthusiasts. TVS mentioned that they will back the project with intense support from TVS Racing’s. The group’s experience of more than 40 years will come in handy. Under this, TVS will proactively engage with enthusiasts and motivate and train them. This will then help them to gain in-depth knowledge about the art of racing.
