TVS Motor Company has revealed the Ronin Scrambler Concept at the MotoSoul 2023. The Ultimate biking festival is taking place in Goa. There were four custom-built projects based on the TVS Ronin platform. Amongst these, the TVS Design Team has developed a Factory Custom named SCR.
The Ronon SCR looks like a scrambler version of the Ronin. The SCR stands for Special Custom Ronin. In terms of design, the bike gets a yellow and silver paint scheme with hints of white and black. The motorcycle gets a raised mudguard, a handcrafted leather single seat and what appears to be an engine guard.
The bike rides on wire-spoke rims and gets yellow highlights on its edges. They are shod in semi-knobby rubber.
The exhaust is a dual-muffler piece that gets an upswept design. The bike also gets an LED headlight, amongst other features.
The Ronin has a 225.9cc single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke, 4-valve SOHC engine. The oil-cooled fuel-injected engine also gets glide-through technology, producing 20.4 PS of power and 19.93 Nm of torque. TVS has offered a 5-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch.
The TVS Ronin comes with a double split synchro-stiff frame. It rides on a 41mm upside-down front suspension and a 7-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 300mm single disc on the front and a 240mm disc on the rear equipped with Rain and Urban ABS modes.
On Day 1 of the MotoSoul 2023, TVS announced the launch of TVS Flat Track. This will offer a wide range of experiences to the racing enthusiast. Further, the company also celebrated the 5 million global community of TVS Apache and Ronin. The main aim of this festival is to bring the community of riders and performance enthusiasts together to celebrate their camaraderie and passion for motorcycling.
