TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant of the Raider. The new SmartXonnect variant is priced at INR 99,990 and gets new features. TVS Raider was launched last year. To delight its customers, the bikemaker has announced new features on the Raider.
The TVS Raider now gets a 5-inch TFT console. It also receives a Bluetooth system that can pair the user’s phone with the bike using a mobile application. It boasts of ride analytics, voice and navigation assistance, an incoming call feature, ride reports and image transfer options.
TVS has utilised a uniquely bold and macho design theme for the new Raider. It also gets a unique logo. The fuel tank gets a sculpted design, while the bike features a sporty, compact, and agile profile. The Raider has been targeted primarily towards the Gen Z youth for everyday use. The bike is offered in a range of youthful colour options.
The bike is also equipped with a gas-charged, 5-step adjustable, low-friction, front mono-shock suspension. The rider and pillion get split seats. TVS offers the Raider with 17-inch wide tires.
TVS offers the Raider with a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm Synchro SBT rear brake for braking duties.
The Raider is powered by a 124.8cc, 3-valve engine producing 12.9 PS of power and 11.5 Nm of torque. The 0-60 km/h time is claimed to be 5.7 seconds. This engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
TVS Raider SmartXonnectTM TFT variant is priced at INR 99,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings have opened from 20th October 2022, and the bikes are available in two colour options – Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow.
