TVS-owned Norton plans to launch 6 new bikes in 3 years

TVS Motor Company purchased the iconic British motorcycle brand back in 2020. TVS has made heavy investments in the brand since. The amount to be precise in 113 million pounds. However, we have not seen a new product in the last four years after TVS’ takeover. That is about change as we will finally see some newly developed products starting next year.

New Products?

Reports suggest that TVS will launch 6 new bikes under the Norton brand in a span of three years. The first of these new models is slated to debut in 2025. While the existing Norton lineup—comprising legacy products—commands a premium price, the upcoming bikes are expected to be more affordable without compromising on quality. TVS Motor MD, Sudarshan Venu, emphasizes the brand’s core philosophy: “Design, Dynamism, and Detail.”

Unlike the 650cc Atlas or Nomad models showcased in 2018, the upcoming Norton bikes will be entirely fresh designs. TVS has diligently addressed engineering issues and customer concerns from the pre-acquisition era. As a result, we can anticipate motorcycles that blend heritage with modernity, appealing to both enthusiasts and riders seeking value.

India Launch Timeline

The good news for Indian riders is that these new Nortons will also be available in India shortly after their international launch. TVS aims to position Norton as a premium brand while ensuring accessibility for a wider audience. Pricing will be the key factor in India’s price sensitive two-wheeler market.
