TVS OMC RR 310 (Apache RR 310) creates top speed record of 215.9 kmph

TVS Racing drew everyone’s attention with a new speed record. This has come up in the second edition of TVS Asia One Make Championship 2023. This time around the team managed to break its earlier record. They set up a top speed of 215 kmph around the Chang International Circuit in Thailand. The racing team also set a new best lap timing of 1:49:742. Thus beating its previous record of 1:50.850 by a good 1.1 seconds. The Racing motorcycle in use was the TVS Asia OMC RR 310, based on the RR310.

What Was The Race Like?

The racing motorcycle managed to bring out a higher power output this season. Alongside this, it also received improved ECU calibration and gear ratios. The motorcycle also benefited from a new customised suspension set-up. The 2023 season saw a total of 14 racers from 7 countries. These are namely, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Japan. Vorapong Malahuan was the winner in the first two races. Meanwhile, Indian riders KY Ahamed and Jagan Kumar made it to the top 10.
