TVS Motor Company has launched the new Pearl Blue Silver colour on the TVS Star City+ at the price starting INR 65,856 ex-showroom, Delhi. The brand has also announced that the TVS Star City+ in the Pearl Blue Silver colour will be available in both Drum Brake and Disc Brake variants. The new colour will give the buyers in the commuter segment a new dual-tone colour option at an affordable price point.
Design & Styling
The new TVS Star City+ with the Pearl Blue Silver colour option features a Blue finish on the front fender, fuel tank and pillion grab rail. The headlight shroud also comes with blue paint and silver graphic design which continues on the fuel tank side and knee recesses. The side panel and tailpiece cowling are a combination of Pear Blue and Silver design giving the motorcycle a premium look and finish. The motorcycle comes with dual-tone black and grey rearview mirror housing and dual-tone seat upholstery, adding to the premium look and finish of the commuter segment motorcycle. The engine, exhaust, front fork bottles and alloy wheels come with a black finish along with a red contrast on the rear suspension spring and an exhaust heat plate with chrome treatment.
Features
The TVS Star City+ comes loaded with features such as a new LED cluster headlamp which claims to offer more brightness and consumes 67% less power, a USB mobile charger, maintenance-free battery, a human-centric design with upright handlebars, a 10-litre sculpted fuel tank, relaxed footpeg positioning, multifunction instruments console with econometer, service reminder and malfunction indicator and a 5-year warranty as standard. The Disc brake version also features a stylish roto-petal disc on the front.
Powertrain
Powering the TVS Star City+ is a 109.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with an ET-FI electronic fuel injection system that helps produce 8.08 Bhp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch. The new ET-Fi EcoThrust-Fuel Injection Technology boasts to deliver 15% higher mileage, better startability, rideability, refinement, durability and lower maintenance.
