TVS Motors has launched the 2021 Star City Plus in the Indian market starting at the price of INR 65,856 ex-showroom, Delhi for the Drum Brake version and INR 68,465 ex-showroom, Delhi for the Disc Brake version. The 2021 TVS Star City Plus comes with new features such as a roto-petal disc brake, LED headlamps, USB smartphone charging, semi-digital instruments cluster and ET-Fi (Ecothrust Fuel Injection) technology that claims 15% better mileage, better startability, better rideability, refinement, durability and lower maintenance. The 2021 TVS Star City Plus is available in six colour options – Black Red, Black Blue, Grey Black, Red Black and White Black. The disc variant is currently available the Black Red Dual Tone colour theme.
Powertrain & Dimensions
Powering the 2021 TVS Star City Plus is an air-cooled 109.7cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke motor with electronic fuel injection that makes 8.08 Bhp of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch and an all-up shift pattern. The engine is capable of propelling the Star City Plus to a top speed of 90 kmph. The TVS Star City Plus is a commuter class motorcycle and measures 1980mm in length, 750mm in width, 1080mm in height, 1260mm of the wheelbase, 172mm of ground clearance and tips the scales at 116 kg (Drum).
Chassis, Suspension and Brakes
The 2021 TVS Star City Plus features a single cradle frame with the engine used as a stressed member and rides on oil damped telescopic front forks and a 5-step adjustable twin hydraulic shock absorber on the rear. The 2021 Star City Plus comes with 17-inch alloy wheels shod in tubeless tyres as standard. Stopping power comes from a 130mm mechanically operated drum brake on the front (Drum Version) and a 110mm mechanical drum brake on the rear with Synchro technology. The Disc brake version comes with a roto-petal disc on the front.

The TVS Star City Plus comes with a new LED cluster headlamp that offers 3 times more brightness and consumes 67% less energy, premium dual-tone seats, USB mobile charger, maintenance-free battery, dual-tone mirror housing, dual-tone exhaust muffler, chrome bezel around the headlamp shroud, 3D brand logo on the side panels, a human-centric design with 10-litre sculpted fuel tank and upright handlebars, multifunction instruments console with econometer, service reminder and malfunction indicator and a 5-year warranty as standard.
