TVS launches Raider iGO with boost mode in India at INR 98,389

TVS Motor Company has introduced a new variant of its popular Raider series, the Raider iGO, priced at INR 98,389 (ex-showroom Delhi). This new model features a segment-first “boost mode” aimed at enhancing acceleration and overall performance.

What does iGO do?

The Raider iGO is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 11.2bhp and 11.2Nm of torque. The boost mode temporarily increases torque to 11.75 Nm, enabling the bike to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.8 seconds. This feature is designed to assist riders in making quick overtakes.

Design and Technology

The Raider iGO retains the muscular street appeal of the Raider series, with a refreshed reverse LCD connected cluster offering over 85 Bluetooth-connected features, including voice assist and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike is available in a striking Nardo Grey color with red alloy wheels, adding a sporty touch to its appearance.

Market Positioning

Priced competitively, the Raider iGO is positioned between the Split Seat and SSE trims of the Raider series. It aims to attract riders looking for a balance of performance and affordability. The bike’s design and features are tailored to meet the preferences of modern riders, particularly the GenZ demographic. It will compete with the newly launched Pulsar N125 and the Hero Xtreme 125R.

Our Thoughts

With the launch of the Raider iGO, TVS Motor Company continues to expand its portfolio of commuter motorcycles. The new variant’s boost mode and advanced features are expected to appeal to a wide range of riders, making it a strong contender in the entry-level sports motorcycle segment.
